This is a heavy duty 1 1/4 inch Bridle leather belt designed to last for decades, not months. Originally designed as a heavy duty gun belt for the Texas Rangers, it is now more often seen worn on the golf course or by the contemporary businessman. It is the classic Ranger style with the double tongue and under side loop. This style has been a staple for the cowboy and the banker for over 200 years in the Southwest USA.
For a perfect fit, measure a belt that you are currently wearing as follows:
1. put the belt on and tighten it to whatever hole it fits comfortably in.
2. take note which hole it fits in before taking it off
3. measure from that hole where it fit comfortably to the tip of the buckle tongue.
